The four children of Walmart founders Sam and Helen Walton -- Rob Walton, Alice Walton, Jim Walton and the late John Walton - will be inducted into the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame. The action is part of a centennial celebration for the Sam M. Walton College of Business.
The Walton siblings comprise the 2027 class of inductees. The induction ceremony will take place Feb. 5, 2027, at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.
Brent Williams, dean of the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, announced Wednesday (Aug. 26) the 2027 class of inductees during his centennial address, in which he also highlighted the Walton College's priorities over the next five years. The college was founded in 1926 and was renamed in 1998 in honor of Sam Walton after the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation gave $50 million to the college - the largest gift to an American business school at the time.
