College football fans won't have to wait to find juicy matchups this weekend.
The third full weekend of games features a huge SEC game with more than bragging rights on the line, but there are several games worth checking out before that one kicks off under the lights in Oxford, Miss.

Nineteen games will feature at least one ranked team on Saturday, including a pair featuring two top 25 squads.

Friday fun?
The weekend started fast with three games featuring ranked teams on Friday night.
Most noteworthy: No. 22 Houston at No. 13 Texas Tech, a game that was scheduled by Fox with some controversy because it clashes with the Friday Night Lights tradition of high school football in the Longhorn State.
Before that game, No. 5 Miami (Fla.) traveled to North Carolina to face Wake Forest in a game that kicks off at 7:30 pm. Eastern on ESPN.
