Driverless Trucks Now Run Walmart, PepsiCo Routes: Gatik Raises $200M to Scale
Autonomous trucking firm completed 85,000 driverless deliveries at 99% on-time before Series D Autonomous trucking company Gatik raised $200 million in a Series D round announced August 25, 2026 -- the largest round in the company's history -- with Qatar's sovereign wealth fund leading a deal that transforms a regional freight experiment into something the supply chain world has been waiting for: a driverless trucking operation with receipts to show for it. The round was led by the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Qatar's approximately $524 billion sovereign wealth fund, alongside Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT), the venture arm of Koch Industries. Millennium Management, ARK Invest, Intact Private Capital, Arca Continental, and other investors also participated. Intact tripled its prior commitment. The financing brings Gatik's total capital raised to approximately $500 million since the Santa Clara, California-based company came out of stealth in 2019.
