Duke basketball returns from its week off to host Wake Forest on Saturday, Jan. 24, at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The No. 5 Blue Devils (17-1, 6-0 ACC) and fourth-year head coach Jon Scheyer are set to face the Demon Deacons (11-8, 2-4) and coach Steve Forbes at noon ET on the CW, with streaming options available via Fubo. Tipoff was originally set for 5:45 p.m. ET but moved up due to possible inclement weather.
Duke has not played since its 80-50 rout over Stanford at Maples Pavilion on Jan. 17. The Blue Devils took down Cal, 71-56, a few days before that, becoming the first team in the ACC this season to sweep its West Coast slate. Wake Forest was the first league team to sweep its trip out west, doing so last season. Cameron Boozer leads Duke and the ACC with 23.2 points per game as the freshman is now up to nine double-doubles on the season.
Wake Forest dropped its midweek home contest to SMU, 91-79, on Jan. 20. The Demon Deacons' two conference wins have come over Virginia Tech (81-78) and Florida State (69-68). Sophomore guard Juke Harris ranks third in the ACC, averaging 20.5 points per game.
Saturday will mark the 145th all-time meeting between the programs since 1965,...
