Waves of Buc-ee's fans camped out overnight to welcome a Texas-born gas station to the Natural State. Buc-ee's has officially opened the doors to its first massive travel center in Benton, Arkansas.
The store held its grand opening at 6 a.m. on Monday, August 17, but some people were already in line as early as 9 p.m. Sunday evening, THV 11 reports. This new Buc-ee's comes less than a week after the company debuted its latest Texas travel center in San Marcos.
Arkansas business owners and content creators, Gregory and Adama Chisley, arrived at the new Buc-ee's at 5:45 a.m and said when they got there, "there was already a long line because some people had camped out overnight." The pair shared photos on Facebook of their family alongside the Buc-ee's beaver mascot inside the new store.
"The energy was exciting, and it felt special to experience the grand opening of the first Buc-ee's in Arkansas with our family," the pair told MySA.
Other excited locals like Denise Hyde wrote on Facebook that, "Today should be an Arkansas Holiday!!!" as she also stopped by the new Benton Buc-ee's to start her morning with fresh brisket on the board. "Y'all a little bit of Texas is right here...
