FAYETTEVILLE -- If all good things come to those who wait, perhaps really good things can come to good people who wait.
Former University of Arkansas star Hunter Henry, in his 10th year in the National Football League, is savoring every moment of the New England Patriots' run to the Super Bowl. The Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Central at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
Henry and rookie Eric Gregory, who is on injured reserve, continue the string of ex-Razorbacks on Super Bowl rosters. Former Hog defensive back Kevin Richardson is a defensive assistant coach on the New England roster.
Henry, 31, a Little Rock native and Pulaski Academy graduate, might be the most prominent former Razorback in the game since defensive end Trey Flowers notched 2.5 sacks and 5 quarterback hits in the Patriots' 24-23 win over Atlanta in Super Bowl LI at Houston in 2017.
Henry's gratitude for his family, faith, teammates and friends has been on full display since the Patriots clinched a berth in the NFL's ultimate game with a 10-7 win in the snow at Denver on Jan. 25.
