The Hawgs Illustrated Sports Club has announced its upcoming luncheon guest speaker schedule for the spring. Ron Wey, a leader in the Northwest Arkansas business community and a hall of fame basketball player in his home state of Indiana, will be the guest speaker at the upcoming Feb. 25 luncheon. Wey was a 2025 inductee into the Indiana Sports Hall of Fame, in the same class that included WNBA star Caitlin Clark. Wey played collegiately at Southern California in the 1960s after a standout prep career at Honey Creek High School in Terre Haute, Indiana. He has been a leader with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Northwest Arkansas for a number of years. Arkansas track and field coaches Chris Johnson and Doug Case will be guest speakers at the March 18 luncheon. Both coaches lead the Razorbacks' elite track programs, which will host the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 13-14 at the Randal Tyson Track Center. Case is in his first season as the leader of the men's program but has been a Razorbacks track coach for 18 years.
