FAYETTEVILLE -- A Lincoln man received an 80-year prison sentence for sex crimes this week after a three-day jury trial in Washington County Circuit Court. A jury convicted Quinten Manchie Harvey, 26, of Lincoln on Wednesday of two counts of rape and three counts of second-degree sexual assault, according to a news release from the Washington County Prosecutor's Office. Circuit Judge Joanna Taylor presided over the trial. She accepted the jury's recommendation of 40 years imprisonment for each count of rape, to be served consecutively, and 20 years on each count of sexual assault, to be served concurrently, for a total of 80 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction, the release states. Harvey will also be required to register as a sex offender. The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a report in August 2023 of a prior sexual assault that occurred on Harvey's 100-acre property west of Lincoln, court documents state.
