FAYETTEVILLE -- One week after putting up its lowest score since last year's season opener, the No. 10 Arkansas gymnastics team bounced back with its second-highest team score of the season on Friday, beating No. 6 Georgia 197.450-197.050 inside Bud Walton Arena. The Razorbacks (3-2, 2-1 SEC) trailed after the first rotation but took a narrow lead after the second and hung on for their second SEC win. Arkansas had scored a season-low 195.975 in a loss at Florida last week, including season-low scores on bars, beam and floor. "I'm really proud of the response," coach Jordyn Wieber said. "We talked a lot about what it needed to look like in practice this week to get a better result that we wanted this weekend, and they really put it into action. "One of the things was training better during the week and not just relying on adrenaline and the energy of the meet to do well, and so they had a much better week of practice." A season-high 49.450 on uneven bars gave Arkansas the lead by 0.075 after the second rotation. The Razorbacks stuck all of their dismounts on the apparatus. Joscelyn Roberson...
