Pulaski County justice of the peace settles ethics complaint, agrees to $200 fine | Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
Pulaski County Justice of the Peace Tina Ward has settled an ethics complaint with the Arkansas Ethics Commission and agreed to pay a $200 fine and receive a public letter of caution from the commission. In the settlement of the complaint, Ward, of Little Rock, agreed with the commission finding that she violated state law by failing to timely file campaign finance reports as a candidate for Pulaski County justice of the peace during the 2024 election cycle and by failing to timely file personal financial disclosure reports for 2021, 2022 and 2023 as a Pulaski County Special School District board member, commission Interim Director Jill Rogers Barham said in a letter dated Jan. 9 to Ward. Barham said the settlement offer was signed on Dec. 16. In January, Ward was sworn in as Pulaski County justice of the peace. She is a Democrat. She previously served eight years on the Pulaski County Special School District board.
