Springdale law firm Crouch, Harwell, Fryar & Ferner PLLC will soon become Crouch, Harwell & Zega PLLC after two attorneys join other firms, managing partner Matt Fryar said. The firm is also moving next door.
Fryar is joining Wright, Lindsay & Jennings LLP in Rogers, and Laura Ferner is joining Hall Estill in Fayetteville. The changes take place Jan. 1.
The firm will move from 111 Holcomb St. to 111A Holcomb St. in downtown Springdale.
Fryar said the firm has operated under different names over the past 80 years in downtown Springdale, "and that legacy of service to our clients and community isn't going anywhere."
Fryar said he and Ferner will continue to serve the legal needs of Northwest Arkansas businesses and families at the other firms.
"Here in Springdale, Steve Zega will carry the torch forward as the firm's story continues under a new name: Crouch, Harwell & Zega PLLC, with Jim Crouch remaining part of the team in an of counsel role and Charles Harwell returning to that role -- all three bringing decades of institutional knowledge and care to every matter," Fryar said.
