Undrafted former Michigan kicker could win Giants' game of musical chairs. The New York Giants have already had an interesting offseason at the kicker position and we are still weeks away from the start of training camp. This offseason, the team signed veteran Jason Sanders to a free-agent contract. But less than three months later, the team has already released him. That was a bit of a surprising move, but with three kickers on the roster, the Giants trimmed the fat by cutting the oldest one after watching him kick at OTAs. That leaves Ben Sauls, a holdover from last season, and undrafted free agent Dominic Zvada to battle it out. Sauls was undrafted out of Pittsburgh last season, signing with the Steelers before joining the practice squad of the Atlanta Falcons after being cut. The Giants signed him last November after the Falcons released him and, called upon to kick at the end of the season, he actually did well, making all eight of his field goal attempts and going a perfect 7-for-7 on extra points.
