North of Interstate 40, mainly snow will occur, with total accumulations between 8 and 14 inches, locally up to 18 inches. Blowing and drifting snow may occur. South of Interstate 40, a mixture of snow and sleet will occur, with total accumulation of 3 to 12 inches. Freezing rain of up to 0.20 inches may occur across far southeast Oklahoma. Intense snow and sleet rates will greatly reduce visibility and rapidly produce travel issues after onset. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Arkansas and east central, northeast, and southeast Oklahoma. * WHEN...Until 3 PM CST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous to near impossible travel conditions are expected areawide, with impacts likely to continue into next week given the forecasted snow and sleet amounts.
