6 former Arkansas football players invited to 2026 NFL combine | Whole Hog Sports

Six former Arkansas football players have been invited to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, the league announced Wednesday. Quarterback Taylen Green, running back Mike Washington, offensive lineman Fernando Carmona, defensive lineman Cam Ball, linebacker Xavian Sorey and defensive back Julian Neal received invitations to the event, which runs from Feb. 23-March 2 in Indianapolis. All six participated in the Senior Bowl on Jan. 31, marking a program record for most players slected for the game. Green is among 15 quarterbacks who will go through drills at the combine and one of four from the SEC.

Arkansas football adds Temple transfer OL as preferred walk-on | Whole Hog Sports

Arkansas football landed the commitment of Temple transfer offensive lineman Lucas Possenti as a preferred walk-on Sunday. Possenti, 6-5 and 305 pounds, joined Temple as a walk-on in 2024 and redshirted that season. He entered the NCAA transfer portal after the 2025 season and has three years of eligibility remaining. He picked Arkansas over a scholarship offer from Stetson and a preferred walk-on opportunity at Oklahoma State.
