BATON ROUGE - The frustration in conference play for LSU men's basketball continues as the Tigers fell to No. 21 Arkansas 91-62. LSU is now 2-9 in SEC play. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.(AP) -- Clara Strack had 33 points and 15 rebounds, Teonni Key also had a double-double, and No. 18 Kentucky defeated Arkansas 93-73 on Sunday to snap a three-game losing streak. Kentucky led by only six points at halftime and it was 60-49 heading to the fourth quarter. The Wildcats outscored the Razorbacks 33-24 in the fourth. The Wildcats' lead was 66-53 early in the fourth before they went on a 13-0 run in less than 2 1/2 minutes, extending their lead to 79-53.

The Kentucky Wildcats look to rebound from a big loss when they battle the 15th-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday night. Kentucky is coming off an 80-55 loss at Vanderbilt on Tuesday, while Arkansas downed Oklahoma 83-79 that same night. The Wildcats (14-7, 5-3 SEC), who are tied for fourth in the conference, are 2-3 on the road this season. The Razorbacks (18-3, 6-2 SEC), who are tied for second in the league, are 13-0 on their home floor.

FAYETTEVILLE -- Oregon defensive lineman Xadavien Sims committed to Arkansas on Friday after starting an official visit with the Razorbacks on Thursday. Sims, 6-3 and 305 pounds, received his first scholarship offer in high school from former Arkansas coach Sam Pittman as a sophomore at Denison, Texas. He had 1 tackle this season as a redshirt freshman for the Ducks. He appeared in two games in 2024. He was consensus 4-star recruit out of Durant High School in Oklahoma in the class of 2024.

The No. 17 Arkansas Razorbacks (12-4, 2-1 SEC) host the South Carolina Gamecocks (10-6, 1-2 SEC) in a matchup of SEC rivals at Bud Walton Arena, tipping off at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
