Crystal Bridges debuts expanded footprint this weekend alongside transformation of existing spaces

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville opens a major expansion to the public on June 6. Designed by Safdie Architects, the 110,000-plus-square-foot expansion adds over 50% to the museum's footprint. The museum has been completely transformed, starting with the Orchard Trail featuring new pathways and artworks. Inside, nearly every piece of art was moved to new locations, with new signage, softer lighting, and repainted walls. The collection is now displayed less chronologically.
