T-Mobile, Texas private equity firm eye acquisition of Uniti Group | Arkansas Democrat Gazette
Uniti Group, Inc. is being eyed for acquisition by wireless provider T-Mobile US and Fort Worth-based private equity firm TPG Inc., according to media reports. London-based market analysis firm TMT Finance released an unsourced report Tuesday saying T-Mobile is interested in buying Uniti's fiber-to-the-home business, under its Kinetic banner, while TPG is interested in acquiring Uniti's enterprise fiber assets. Arkansas Business reported news of the possible acquisition on Wednesday.
