Oregon transfer DL Xadavien Sims commits to Arkansas football | Arkansas Democrat Gazette
FAYETTEVILLE -- Oregon defensive lineman Xadavien Sims committed to Arkansas on Friday after starting an official visit with the Razorbacks on Thursday. Sims, 6-3 and 305 pounds, received his first scholarship offer in high school from former Arkansas coach Sam Pittman as a sophomore at Denison, Texas. He had 1 tackle this season as a redshirt freshman for the Ducks. He appeared in two games in 2024. He was consensus 4-star recruit out of Durant High School in Oklahoma in the class of 2024. He picked the Ducks over Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Jackson State, Kansas, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and others. Sims visited Arkansas for the 34-17 home victory over Missouri in 2021. He announced his entry into the portal on Jan. 11. He has three years of eligibility remaining. On3 rates him the No. 96 defensive lineman in the portal.
