Arkansas wing Isaiah Sealy to have surgery after recent injury, John Calipari announces. One member of the Arkansas basketball team will be sidelined for a bit due to a recent injury. Razorbacks head coach John Calipari announced that Isaiah Sealy is dealing with a knee injury. Sealy was injured playing pick-up basketball on Friday, and will need to have surgery. Calipari said Arkansas currently doesn't have a timeline for Sealy's recovery. Sealy is entering his second season playing for Calipari. As a freshman, he appeared in 19 games. Over 132 minutes, he recorded 55 points (2.9 per game), shooting 50% on 17-of-34 field-goal attempts. In 2 games, Sealy scored in double-digits. He had a season-high 12 points in his collegiate debut against Southern U on Nov. 3. Sealy scored 10 points against Jackson State on Nov. 21. Sealy is a home-grown Hog. A Springdale (Arkansas) High School standout, Sealy was named the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette's Boys Basketball Player of the Year after averaging 17.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists.
