To be able to recognize the coming-of-age leadership in this fantastic region of the state for the last three decades is something I'm particularly proud of for our organization. More importantly, I'm proud of all the amazing talent that has been part of these classes for 30 years. This year is no exception. Walmart stores in several states, including Arkansas, are recalling a tomato soup due to potential listeria contamination, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Kettle Cuisine LLC recalled Marketside Tomato Bisque Soup kits distributed with a best by date of Aug. 22 in Walmart stores, the FDA said in a news release on Thursday.

A panel of speakers offered leadership advice to the 2026 Forty Under 40 class during a luncheon to honor their achievements. More than 400 people attended the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal's 30th annual Forty Under 40 luncheon Tuesday (Aug. 11) at Embassy Suites in Rogers. The event is sponsored by Intrust Bank.

FAYETTEVILLE -- The Arkansas men's basketball team will host Memphis in an exhibition on Oct. 28 at Bud Walton Arena, according to the Tigers' schedule release Monday. Arkansas coach John Calipari previously announced the preseason matchup but did not provide a date. Calipari has also said the Razorbacks will play a home exhibition game against Gonzaga, with a date yet to be announced. Calipari said last month the Razorbacks would play at Kansas in an exhibition, but that will not be played.
